Young L's new mixtape "As i Float"
sampled mostly from Imogen Heap vocals, the production work here is incredible. with "Im god" star, CLAMS CASINO and Young L himself handling the beats, you know to expect greatness, but this mixtape really hits this sort of meloncholic "dream swag" sound on the head. (my term i just came up with ha)
this could be the hip-hop record of the year. this is beautiful music. no doubt thanks to imogen heap of course, but Young L is really shining here.
a huge move forward for Young L, but i do hope that he returns to his cold electronic snap sound of his previous mixtapes. #swag
